Learning from a star stepdad

Back in the late 1970s, the club BLUES on Halsted (which is still in existence, hosting live blues on Chicago's North Side) featured Blue Mondays, as well as weekend shows, led by Eddie Taylor, at left.  His stepson Larry would play drums. In this picture Larry's on the mic, with Illinois Slim (white hat, right) on second guitar, Willie Kent on bass.  (photo courtesy Bob Corritore)Eddie Taylor Sr, Larry, IL Slim BLUES 1970s B Corritore
